FAQ
Demolition questions
Do I need a permit to demolish a house in Houston?
Yes — most full demolitions inside Houston city limits require a demolition permit, and utility disconnections must be confirmed before work begins. We'll walk you through what's required for your address during the estimate.
Can you work around active businesses or tenants?
Yes. We schedule noisy work around operating hours when needed, keep access routes clear, and contain debris so neighboring tenants and customers aren't affected.
What's the difference between interior and selective demolition?
Interior demolition usually means gutting a space; selective demolition means removing specific elements — a wall, a kitchen, a ceiling — while keeping everything else intact. We do both.
What's the difference between partial and full pool removal?
Partial removal breaks out the top of the shell and fills the rest in place — faster and more affordable. Full removal takes out the entire shell, which is usually preferred if you plan to build on that area. We'll explain both options for your property.
How thick of concrete can you remove?
We handle typical residential flatwork through heavier commercial slabs and footings. Thickness and reinforcement affect equipment and time, which we'll assess during the walkthrough.
Can you remove the junk inside the shed too?
Yes — clean-out and demolition are handled by the same crew, on the same visit when possible.
